Heads up if you program the quick selection buttons I have my down button select explore mode setting and up button for heated grip, You need to wait until the instrument display finished it’s startup routine each time you ign on otherwise the quick selection button looses the setting. A little frustrating, poor software handling in the code!

Yeah, that's been flagged by a few riders. If you press the quick select buttons before the display finishes booting, the settings don't stick. Some say it's tied to how the software initializes rider profiles and mode memory. You could try waiting a few extra seconds after ignition before touching anything.

Why are we accepting $15K+ bikes with software quirks that wouldn't fly in a $30 TV remote? If the quick select resets on startup, that's not premium tech, it's just lazy coding.

Totally agree Beatrice. Also the issue arises when you try the start the bike before the instrument cluster has completed its boot up. Just shows that the automotive world has lost its way, these bugs were tested during development but time to market and low cost development countries has led to engineering by accountants.
