Installing progressive springs and mod

What started as a simple plan to swap in progressive springs on my bike turned into a ten-hour project thanks to missing tools, multiple store runs, and even grinding down a spring compressor. My buddy's son test rode it since I was sore, and the bike handled great. I also added new pegs, clutch kit, and heat shield. Anyone else tackled something this exhausting?

Sounds like quite the marathon project,, between the missing tools, store runs and modifying the spring compressor, I can see how that turned into a long day. At least the upgrades paid off with better handling and the extra parts installed. I've definitely had similar "simple jobs" spiral into exhausting sessions, any regrets or would you say it was worth the effort?
