I added the aluminium crash bars and they are great went down -50 km/h on dirt and they saved the front faring and that cost as much as the bars. Broke a rib but think that might have been the Alpine off-road airbag🤣.

Damn, bad news about the rib. Does the suit have a log tracking system to see when and why it deployed? As for the crach bars they did their job and anyone that's into off-roading should invest in them.

It does record and upload info for Alpinestar to review but I cannot see in data in the app, it deployed before I hit the ground so pretty good algorithm to know your going to hit ground, not just fallen down drunk in a pub🤣

Wow, those crash bars really did their job! The fairing survived, so that's definitely a win. I'm bummed about your rib, though, that sounds painful. But it's pretty awesome to hear that the Alpine airbag went off before you even hit anything. Their sensors and algorithms are really on point. I just wish the app would show the crash data that would be so helpful

Those crash bars really pay off, huh? glad they saved your fairing even if you took a hit yourself, off road airbags have saved me too, definitely worth the investment.

Well fairing is intact, so that's a win even if the rib took one for the team. And the airbag systems are a little more advanced now with how fast they kick in. LOL.
