Best mounting spot for SoundBomb on Norden 901

I recently got a Norden 901 a couple of months ago and I'm in the process of transferring some gear from my old T7. Right now, I'm a bit torn about whether to go for the Compact or the Split SoundBomb horn. I can't seem to find a good mounting spot that doesn't interfere with the crash bars or obstruct airflow to the radiator.

Has anyone here successfully mounted one on their 901? I'd love to hear what worked for you or check out a photo if you've done it. Any tips would be really appreciated!

I suggest you go for the Split version since it's easier to tuck the compressor and horn in separate spots, usually one under the fairing and the other on the frame near the skid plate. The Compact can work too, but space is tight especially around the crash bars and radiator. If airflow's a concern, go with the Split.

A buddy had a similar dilemma.
He went with a Compact SoundBomb and tucked it near the front of the frame, I think just above the engine mount on the left side.
I think that clears the crash bars and doesn't seem to block airflow.
Try checking that spot on your bike!

you know that mounting anything without interfering with crash bars or airflow on the 901 is a common challenge.
For the Compact SoundBomb, I've seen success stories with custom brackets that use existing bolt points near the front of the frame, just above the engine guard, aiming slightly outwards.
It keeps it out of direct airflow to the rad but still provides good projection. The Split is easier for hiding the compressor, letting you tuck the horns into tighter spots, perhaps even behind the headlight assembly if you're crafty, though wiring length becomes a factor
